What’s Your Personal Declaration?

I have a few things to declare right now that I must share with you:

1) I am a global authority on how to build a world class team and a thriving heart centered business.

2) Our business is always highly profitable, runs on auto-pilot, and we are always launching new hit products and websites to spread enlightened ideas.

3) At our company we set a new standard in terms of quality of life, compensation, impact and having FUN at work.

WOW!  I sure feel fired up after making the above declarations and have to give credit to Max Simon for inspiring this blog post after I came across his post on how to become a global authority.

I have long wrestled with the concept of “The Law of Attraction” and feeling something with so much certainty that you can comfortably declare it to be so, even if in your present reality things are still different.

I am a man of my word and for me living in integrity is a must ALWAYS.  So, whenever I have encountered obstacles in my life (which naturally happens a lot if you keep looking for new growth opportunities as much as I do), I have had a hard time to make public declarations before the desired outcome materialized.

The funny thing is that whenever I do make these declarations the outcome tends to manifest WAY faster and whenever I hesitate… guess what… I tend to struggle much longer.

So…  since I deep down inside KNOW that I will reach all of the above mentioned goals (because I will do whatever it takes) I feel a lot more confident making these declarations even today… and already I am feeling a lot more certain that these goals are going to manifest into my life much faster.

This is a crazy thing but there is a lot truth to the importance of stating the above.  This wisdom is also often also shared in the saying “Fake it until you make it.”  You have to “feel successful” before you can “become successful.”  There is no other way since everything is energy and like attracts like.

Fortunately, with persistent, diligent, consistent, and playful practice I have made HUGE progress in these past two years and I am excited to say that I now feel very comfortable making the above stated declarations.

In fact, I am already working on a few new projects and initiatives that I KNOW will become very successful.  FUN.  I hope you got as much out of this post as I did.

If not, then get busy and make your declarations.  The moment you do, your entire energy and vibration will shift.  Give it a try… even if it scares you a little… heck… even if it scares you a lot do it!  You will feel WAY better once you have done it.  Just freaking do it!  Hugs and big smiles :-)

How to Get Things Done?

I have been following a very simple system to stay on top of my ambitious to do list.

1) At the beginning of every month I come up with my key goals that I plan to accomplish for that month

2) At the beginning of every single day I write down my MITs (most important tasks).  These MITs have to be in alignment with the goals for the month.

3) During the first hour of every day, I make sure that I work on my most important task without any interruption.  This way, no matter what happens during the rest of the day, I have already made significant progress towards reaching my most important goals.

Over the years, I have tried A LOT of different goal settings systems and techniques and the above is the one that works best for me.

Discover Your Signature Strengths

In this excellent PhilosophersNotes TV Episode Brian Johnson explores the origins of Positive Psych and how to get your signature strengths on!

Here are my top 5 signature strengths:
1. Courage to pursue my dreams
2. Passion for learning
3. Integrity
4. Authenticity
5. Creativity

What are your top 5 strengths?

Guess which one is glaringly missing on my list? Gratitude

I have to admit that this is not one of my signature strengths. The signature strengths come naturally to me. They are effortless… almost part of my core DNA. Gratitude is not on that list because it was only two years ago that I discovered the importance of gratitude and celebrating every small success along the way. And wow… expressing daily gratitude has already made a huge impact on my life and since it did not come naturally to me, I invented www.GratitudeLog.com. :-)

The How of Happiness (explained)

After watching this video… who is ready to keep a gratitude journal on GratitudeLog:-)

What are you grateful for today?

A lot of people ask me… how do I best get started expressing gratitude?

My answer is always the same.

If you are not sure what to write or what to be grateful for, then the best place to start is to check out the community on GratitudeLog.

http://www.gratitudelog.com/community

I visit this page at least once per day to get inspired and whenever I need a “pick me up.”  It is incredible how much energy you can get from watching what other people are grateful for or by following inspiring people like Brian Johnson.

So… what are you waiting for?  Take a moment right now to think about what you are grateful for or better yet, join us on GratitudeLog.com and help more people to create a daily habit of being grateful.  :-)
