I have been following a very simple system to stay on top of my ambitious to do list.

1) At the beginning of every month I come up with my key goals that I plan to accomplish for that month

2) At the beginning of every single day I write down my MITs (most important tasks). These MITs have to be in alignment with the goals for the month.

3) During the first hour of every day, I make sure that I work on my most important task without any interruption. This way, no matter what happens during the rest of the day, I have already made significant progress towards reaching my most important goals.

Over the years, I have tried A LOT of different goal settings systems and techniques and the above is the one that works best for me.

5. Creativity

What are your top 5 strengths?

Guess which one is glaringly missing on my list? Gratitude

I have to admit that this is not one of my signature strengths. The signature strengths come naturally to me. They are effortless… almost part of my core DNA. Gratitude is not on that list because it was only two years ago that I discovered the importance of gratitude and celebrating every small success along the way. And wow… expressing daily gratitude has already made a huge impact on my life and since it did not come naturally to me, I invented www.GratitudeLog.com.
